During her time at domino, Wellington helped the magazine garner several launch awards including placement on Adweek’s “10 Under 50” Hot List and Startup of the Year, Advertising Age’s A-List Launch of the Year and MIN’s Top Launch of ’05. From 1994 to 2004, Wellington worked at Self magazine as advertising director and then as associate publisher. During her time at Self, she helped create, execute and market integrated programs such as VH-1 Rock Hard Bodies and The Self Center.

Prior to her time at Condé Nast, Wellington spent seven years at Rolling Stone, rising to the post of advertising director. She previously worked at Ms. and Laurence, Charles, Free & Lawson.

Wellington lives in Westchester County with her husband and two girls both of whom aspire to run magazines when they grow up.
