Hearst Entertainment has an extensive award-winning movie library, representing the work of more than 75 top independent producers in more than 250 films. Featured are many of today’s leading performers, such as Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst, Shannen Doherty Lorraine Bracco, Ron Silver, Shelly Long, Angie Harmon, Linda Hamilton, Daniel Baldwin, Mercedes Ruehl, Keri Russell and Ally Sheedy. The Hearst catalog of movies in addition to its library of series and specials is distributed in the United States by Tribune Entertainment and by Lakeshore International outside the United States.

Also featured in Hearst Entertainment’s library is an animation catalog of over 600 half hours of programming including such classic characters as Popeye, Flash Gordon, Phantom, Prince Valiant, Betty Boop and Blondie.

Hearst Entertainment Productions (HEP) is a producer of documentary and reality programming. HEP has produced reality programs in a number of genres for many of the US cable networks including A&E, The History Channel, Lifetime, Bravo and National Geographic.

Series production includes The History Channel’s award-winning series, Modern Marvels, one of the network’s highest rated series. This past year has brought over 40 new episodes and will put Modern Marvels over the 400 episode mark, a bar that very few television series achieve!
